Hematology is the branch of medicine concerned with the study of the cause, prognosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases related to blood.

Neurosurgery
Neurosurgery, or neurological surgery, is the medical specialty concerned with the preven-tion, diagnosis, surgical treatment and rehabili-tation of disorders which affect any portion of the nervous system including the brain, spinal column, spinal cord, central and peripheral nervous system, and cerebrovascular system. Conditions that require neurosurgery may be trauma-related, for example injury to the head and spine where there is internal bleeding (cer-ebral aneurysms)

Gynaecology (Female disorders & cancers)
Gynaecology is the branch of physiology and medicine which deals with the functions and diseases specific to women and girls, especially those affecting the reproductive system. Obstetrics deals with all aspects of pregnancy; from prenatal care to post-natal care. An obstetrician delivers babies, and provides therapies like fertility treatment to help a woman get pregnant. Most OB/GYN is trained to do all of these things.

Thoracic Surgery
Thoracic Surgery or Chest Surgery involves the organs of the chest, extends to the oesophagus, the trachea(airway) and the chest wall (rib cage & breastbone).
Thoracic Surgery may include coronary artery bypass surgery, heart transplant, lung transplant and removal of parts of lung affected by cancer. A thoracic surgeon often works with a heart surgeon for cardio thoracic surgery to operate on the heart, lungs, and other pleural or mediastinal structures.

Oncology (Medical)
Oncology is a branch of medicine that deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Treatment plans are dependent on detailed pathology reports and a battery of blood tests. Basic cancer treatment modalities include surgery, radiation and medical oncology. Medical Oncology is the non-surgical management of malignant disease using systemic therapies like chemotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted drugs and immunotherapy.

Orthopedics
Orthopedic surgery involve the surgical treatment of problems that develop in the bones, muscles, joints, and ligaments of the human body. It addresses some problems of the nervous system, such as those that occur as a result of injury or degeneration of the spine, as well as those caused by accident, trauma or chronic conditions. Surgery can correct problems of the nervous system related to the spinal column, congenital defects and musculoskeletal issues caused by aging. Orthopedic surgeons provide comprehensive general and sub specialised orthopedics and trauma service and sports medicine.
Arthroscopy, usually done as a Day surgery, is less invasive and is used by doctors to look at, diagnose, and treat problems inside a joint.

Surgical oncology
Surgical Oncology is a cancer care field that focuses on using surgery to diagnose, stage and treat cancer. Surgical oncologists may also perform palliative surgeries to help control pain, increase a patient's comfort level and manage cancer-related symptoms and side effects.
At a broad level, one can define the roles and responsibilities of a surgical oncologist as follows:
(I) an excellent surgeon who can safely manage cancer patients through complex operations
(II) knows how to integrate surgical treatment as part of a multidisciplinary team, including the type and timing of surgery after pre-operative systemic therapies and/or radiation therapies; the uniqueness of this specialty is that the doctor function as both a surgeon and an oncologist in the management of the patient with cancer.

Urology
Urology is the branch of medicine that focuses on surgical and medical diseases of the male and female urinary-tract system and the male reproductive organs. The urinary system eliminates waste from the body, regulates blood volume and blood pres-sure, and controls levels of electrolytes An urologist deals with problems affecting the kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra, as well as the adrenal glands for conditions such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, stress inconti-nence and bladder cancer. The specialist also looks after the male reproductive system and its organs, including the prostate, testes, epidi-dymis, prostate, penis, vas deferens, and semi-nal vesicles and treats bladder, renal, prostate and testicular cancers. A common prostate disorder is Benign Prostatic Hyperplaysia (BPH) that shares similar symp-toms to prostate cancer.
